New Braunfels Criminal Defense — Courts, Enforcement & What to Expect
New Braunfels criminal cases are heard in the Comal County Courthouse at 150 N. Seguin Ave, New Braunfels. Misdemeanors go to Comal County Courts at Law; felonies go to the District Courts. This is a different court system from Hays County. We appear in Comal County courts and know how the Comal County DA’s office operates.
IH-35 through New Braunfels and SH-46 are the primary enforcement corridors. The Guadalupe River tubing season generates a significant spike in DWI and assault arrests from Memorial Day through Labor Day. New Braunfels PD, Comal County Sheriff, and DPS Troopers all patrol this corridor. River Road and the Canyon Lake area see heavy enforcement on summer weekends.
I’ve defended criminal cases in Comal County courts for over 20 years. Allison Tisdale prosecuted criminal cases as a Texas state prosecutor before joining our firm. When we take your case in New Braunfels, we know the courts, the prosecutors, and the judges who will decide it — because we appear before them regularly. Call 737-937-5786 the day of the arrest.
