Associate Attorney — The Hull Firm
Criminal defense attorney with Cook County public defender experience and criminal litigation training from Chicago Kent College of Law. Handling misdemeanor and felony cases across Austin and Travis County.
Kellie Fox grew up in Houston and moved to San Antonio to attend the University of Texas San Antonio, where she earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice. She then moved to Chicago to attend Chicago Kent College of Law, where she concentrated specifically in criminal litigation — not just criminal law as a subject, but the actual practice of trying cases.
While in law school in Chicago, Kellie worked with the Cook County Public Defender’s office. Cook County is one of the largest public defender operations in the country. That experience meant handling real cases with real stakes under real time pressure — not clinic simulations.
After graduating, Kellie relocated to Austin, where she spent nearly five years at Google before making the full transition to criminal defense practice. She joined The Hull Firm in August 2023 and handles misdemeanor and felony cases across Austin and Travis County courts.
Her background — criminal litigation training, public defender work, and five years at one of the most analytically rigorous companies in the world — means she approaches case evidence and case strategy with a precision that comes from genuinely different experience than most criminal defense attorneys bring.
Kellie handles a broad range of misdemeanor and felony cases across Austin and Travis County, with her criminal litigation training and public defender background informing how she evaluates evidence and builds case strategy.
